General Duties :

• Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
• Inspect, maintain repair and overhaul electromechanical and solid-state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment.
• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and productionequipment.
• Perform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operations.
• Determine the existence of electrical hazards and problems. Safely isolate, ground, and prepare circuits and electrical apparatus to enable repairs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
• Read / interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintain electrical apparatus. Work from complex engineering and manufacturers drawings or manuals to complete projects and assigned work.
• Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring.
• Install and maintain control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.
• Install and maintain drive systems such as variable frequency drives, eddy current, and DC drives. Install and maintain programmable logic control systems (PLC).

Interpret and / or modify PLC control logic as necessary. Install and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level controls.

• Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, including electronic controls, meters, outlets, and panels.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining scheduled maintenance programs for plant equipment. Maintain records, update drawings, and develop safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned in support of the plant Maintenance departments.

Job Qualifications :

• Industrial / commercial electrical background with high-speed production line experience.
• Must have working knowledge of all areas of maintenance and advanced mechanical ability.
• Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout, install & maintain a wide variety of new and existing electrical equipment and processes troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing & electrical controls
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions.
• Must have good working knowledge of Program Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Must be able to provide the required tools at personal expense.
• Must be able to use multi meter accurately and safely.
• 3-5 years of experience in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of production line equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, grounding procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, safety procedures, and electrical test equipment.
• Ability to work unscheduled hours during emergency and / or unusual situations (24 hour / 7 days week when needed).
• Knowledge of computer software / hardware with programming basics highly desirable.
