Position: Service Technician
Primary Office Location: Warminster, Pennsylvania

Primary Role:
JBM’s Team of Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our customers’ CNC machines such as machining centers, turning centers, manual machines, wire EDMs, and more. The Service Team is responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and testing our Customers’ equipment, while meeting scheduling requirements scope of work. As a trainee, this role will assist more experienced Service Technicians with maintenance, while simultaneously learning all the skills needed to be a full CNC Service Technicians.

Objectives:
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test customer equipment.
- Recommend and specify replacement parts and maintenance.
- Prepare and secure parts, tools, and procedures required for installations and service tickets.
- Anchor and glue down machinery prior to installation.
- Install new or used machinery and options, complete machine functionality tests, certification paperwork, and get customer sign off.
- Provide phone and email support for customer requests.
- Maintain continuous knowledge of JBM brand equipment.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance (if given a company vehicle).
- Maintain personal trunk stock parts inventory.
- Represent JBM to customers, vendors and industry professionals.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry with CNC machinery. 5 years or more is a plus, but not required.
- Prior training at a technical institute or local college in the machining trade is a plus.
- JBM will train highly skilled individuals with mechanical or electrical aptitudes and troubleshooting skills as an apprentice.

Physical Requirements:
- Some prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some prolonged periods standing at a machine.
- During machine installations, you may be required to kneel, squat, lay down, and maneuver inside a machine.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75lbs.
- Travel to customers locally.
- Occasional overnight travel required.

Salary:
Starting hourly rate is reflected in this job post, and is negotiable based on experience.
