PAY: Starting pay ranges from $27.50/hr. to $33.50/hr. plus $1.50/hr. shift differential

**Monthly Bonus Payouts: earn up to $2 more per hour for every hour worked (including OT)
SHIFT: 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri: 3pm-11pm) and 3rd Shift (Sun-Thur: 11pm-7am)
OVERTIME AVAILABLE!! For those would love to work OT, we have PLENTY!! We are currently operating 7 days a week all 3 shifts by people VOLUNTEERING for OT!!

JBM Packaging has current job opportunities for talented, experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters / Technicians. These critical team members are responsible for setting up flexible packaging jobs, changing over from one job to the next, trouble-shooting issues, and maintenance for our high-powered, state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery.

We have recently invested in several brand-new envelope/folding/converting machines and are in need of Adjusters/Technicians with previous experience on similar machinery to maximize production on this cutting-edge equipment!

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?

Sets up folding machine per sample and order jacket specifications with the least amount of downtime.
Seeks appropriate approvals (OK’s) on every job that is manufactured on the equipment.
Troubleshoots operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, inspection of products, locating troublesome elements within machines and makes necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions.
Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines.
Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids.
Adjusts folding machines and packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, also keeping up with the machine speed.
Replaces gum window roll and roll of paper, as needed.
Checks order throughout course of production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packaging of product.
Removes paper jams and performs preventative maintenance when scheduled.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience as Folding Machine Technician / Adjuster / Converting Machine Technician
Manual dexterity
Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals is required.
Team player
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and/or 25 lbs. regularly during a ten-hour shift
Ability to regularly stand and walk, during a 8 hour shift
Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch during an eight-hour shift
