Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This is a crucial role that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as vans or trucks to transport goods and materials
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules
-Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery status
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, van driver, or delivery driver
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
- Ability to secure cargo using appropriate equipment such as straps & chains.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
