Position Profile

Brief Description:

The Senior Manager, Pharmacy/HUB Data Architect, at Jazz is a strategic thought partner and an analytical expert who will be a part of creating a data platform for key HUB and Pharmacy metrics that will align with the patient journey. This individual will generate analytics and program insights, manage the relationship between the Vendor’s IS department and internal teams at Jazz, and be a strategic thought partner within the Sleep Patient Support Services Business Unit. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in establishing metrics and analyses coupled with relaying these insights to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

In this role, the Senior Manager will help develop a system that allows for the creation of ongoing metrics, develop analyses, and deliver reports that will be utilized to make high-level decisions on Pharmacy and HUB operations. In addition, ongoing metrics and KPIs will be established, and the candidate will monitor for trends, on current and future patient support and adherence programs. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of specialty pharmacy and HUB service processes, and knowledge of patient support programs including co-pay, PAP, and payer landscape trends.

The Senior Manager role integrates business insights across multiple data inputs, supports strategic decision-making. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of data analysis, statistical methodologies, and a strong grasp of pharmaceutical industry dynamics to support business objectives.

We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated success in analyzing complex programs and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. This role will report to the Associate Director, Oxybate Operations and Pharmacy/HUB Performance within the Sleep Business Unit. The position requires 30% travel to vendor locations, conferences, internal meetings, etc.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Supporting Business Decisions

  • Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with Patient Support Services objectives
  • Identify opportunities for generating and leveraging data and analytics to improve pharmacy operations and patient support program performance
  • Generate concise presentations outlining key findings of analyses that can be presented to leadership to help the decision-making process

Driving Strategy & Operational Efficiencies

  • Create a data platform for key HUB and Pharmacy metrics that will align with the Patient Journey
  • Stay up to date on the latest pharmacy/HUB trends and data standards and bring those thoughts to the data with the ability to make those changes as needed
  • Develop a strong understanding of data feeds from the vendor and work cross functionally with internal and external IS counterparts for issue resolution
  • Proactively manages planned and ad-hoc analytics requests, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness in delivery to business stakeholders
  • Supports culture of analytics and fact-based decision making to deliver actionable insights with ability to influence partners at all levels of the organization
  • Utilize statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques to derive actionable insights
  • Development of reports, through coding and querying databases, and building dashboards using data visualization BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with Patient Support Services team members to support their analytical needs
  • Effectively partners and collaborates with a broad set of internal cross-functional counterparts (including Brand, Analytics Teams, IS, etc.,) and external counterparts (vendor IS and analytics dept) to achieve franchise objectives
  • Successful navigation and execution of workstreams in a vendor facing relationship by possessing strong business acumen and prioritization of business goals
  • Ensure stakeholders remain informed of project plans and have clearly set expectations on execution
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding data privacy, security, and ethical standards in data analysis
  • Uphold data integrity and quality standards, overseeing the maintenance and accuracy of databases and analytical tools

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adept with data visualization tools including Tableau
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL based query expertise
  • Strong experience in the application of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, data integration, and reporting techniques to solve business problems
  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and dealing with conflicting priorities
  • Experience interacting with management, understanding, anticipating, and fulfilling their insight/analytical information requirements
  • Involvement with vendor relationships

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • BA or BS with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, Statistics / Mathematics, or related fields; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical data and processes
  • Experience in pharmaceutical access, reimbursement, or specialty pharmacy processes including knowledge of co-pay, PAP and payer landscape trends, commercial systems, and analytics preferred

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $132,000-$173,250. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
