Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
In need a full time or part time COTA for geriatric home health in Roselawn, Avondale, Oakley, hyde park, Downtown, Blue Ash, Silverton . Please submit resume. 40$ per visit. Visits are 35 minutes. If you are new to home health, you are welcome to apply. Make your own schedule and very flexible hours.
Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Work with patients of all ages
- Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Help patients develop or regain skills for daily living and work activities
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home-based care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical imaging and its application in occupational therapy
- Ability to work in acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Understanding of occupational health principles and practices
