The Work under this Contract consists of but is not limited to Mechanical, Electrical & Civil work and the following items:

· Install new domestic water and fire lines. Provide new valves, fittings, and associated appurtenances. Provide 4-ft minimum cover with minimum 2-ft vertical clearance at all existing utility crossings. Provide pipe required insulation and support where necessary.

· Abandon existing underground domestic water and fire service lines in place. Remove service line segments in conflict with new piping.

· Excavation of soil, shoring and/or sloping excavations as necessary to accomplish the work. Protection of workers in the excavations and adjacent utilities, roadways, and structures. Hazardous Soil Removed per Federal and State regulations (DER-10).

· Perform Soil Air Monitoring preventing unsafe quantities of particulates and substances in the air.

· Soil backfilling of the excavated trenches.

· Landscape area restoration, provide topsoil and seed.

· In areas designated for excavation, all existing pavements, curbs and catch basins shall be removed according to the plans and specifications.

· New concrete pavements, curbs. Match existing finished grade.

· Remove, salvage, and reinstall existing fence atop new concrete curb adjacent new concrete pavement.

· New full depth asphalt pavement. Match existing finished grade.

· Protection of all existing trees not scheduled to be removed. As little vegetable cover shall be removed as required to achieve the installation of site improvements.

· Trees to be removed for construction shall be replaced with the same quality of new trees. Vegetable cover to be removed for construction shall be replaced with the same quality.

· Ensuring that all grounds and gardens are restored to original condition and to satisfaction of Tenant Representatives and Interested Parties.

· Protection of all playground equipment and safety surfaces during construction.

Candidate Requirements

Educational background in mechanical engineering or construction management and 10- years of experience with mechanical/hydronic systems installation, specific to underground piping, and NYCDEP, DOB, and FDNY code/requirements. NYC Superintendent’s License is preferred.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
