Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the facilities and equipment in proper repair. This may include any painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and construction work. Since some facilities are 24 hour operations, it may be necessary to complete repairs and respond to emergencies overnight or on weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair buildings and equipment as needed. Including any painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or construction work.
- Complete tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure stores are safe for the customers and employees.
- Perform all tasks keeping safety as a priority.
- Possess and maintain a valid Drivers License
Facilities Maintenance
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform repairs to keep buildings structurally sound.
- Perform repairs to provide customers and employees a safe environment.
- Perform repairs to meet all foodservice and fuel branding requirements.
- Respond to any emergency issues.
- Report and assist the Maintenance Supervisor in documenting any repairs.
Communication
- Ensure all communication is effective, positive, and supportive.
- Carry company issued Cell-Phone as required for on-call maintenance.
- Respond to email and voice mail within one work day (24 hours).
- Communicate plans and respond to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete time sheets daily.
Physical Demands
- Mobility to move freely on a continual basis throughout the workday.
- Employee is frequently required to stand and walk, sit and talk.
- Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Employee must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
