We are looking for a reliable IT Technician who will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of our organization’s IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Software troubleshooting
- Set up computers, tablets, monitors, etc
- Security camera experience preferred
- Running conduit and Ethernet cable experience preferred
- Mounting security cameras
- Troubleshooting security cameras
- Might require being on ladders at times
- Basic networking (setting up and making changes to routers, understanding of what a subnet is, identifying network equipment)
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with little or no supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a ticketing system
- Organized and detail oriented
- Work with IT Director on bigger projects
This position will serve as the IT Technician for all Milwaukee area locations. Travel to all locations will be required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, with excellent problem solving skills
- Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detections systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
