Diesel Engine – JCC Core Line Job Overview:The JCC is divided into the following stations: Disassembly, Blasting and Repair/Final Inspection. All positions will utilize basic hand tools, air tools, hoist equipment and computers. Positions may be required to lift up to 40lbs. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, problem solving skills. This is a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include cleaning cast iron blocks and heads using a blasting and tumbling parts to ensure all metal shot media is out of the castings. Parts are also inspected and identified before being sent to the Parts Store QualificationsAttention to detail Computer skillsThe ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbsThe ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.. 8-10 hours)The ability to use handheld tools such as impact, hammer, screwdriver, scanner.
