Diesel Engine – POD 80 Block Machining Job Overview: As a member of the Diesel Division in POD 80 Head Machining you are primarily responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to repairing parts and creating new, either in groups of individually. Machinists must prepare by checking specifications and blueprints of the job. Associates will calculate how to shape the piece of metal or other material that is being worked on and decide what tools are necessary. Machinists place work pieces on the tool of choice and set the controls to ensure precision cuts. While the machine is working the Associate will watch carefully for any problems and monitor the speed and heat of the machine.Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pmOvertime availableQualifications: Associate must be detail oriented and able to maintain focus on job tasks.
