We are an established Montessori school in Boulder, Colorado serving children 18 months - 12 years. Our school has a warm and welcoming community located on a beautiful, natural campus.

We are looking for an assistant teacher for the 2024-2025 school year beginning August 6, 2024. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, 40 hours per week. The assistant teacher will work with a lead Montessori teacher in a classroom of students ages 3-6 years old.

Our ideal candidate is friendly, engaged and hard-working. A typical day in the classroom includes guiding students as they work with Montessori lessons, supervising lunch, rest time, and supervising outdoor play. We have a strong and committed staff, and we are looking for a team player to join us in providing a safe, educational, and fun environment for our students.

Experience is not necessary, we are looking for people who enjoy working with children and who are interested and willing to learn about Montessori philosophy and practices.

The compensation range is $22-25/hour, depending upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include health and dental insurance, a retirement plan, paid sick leave, holidays and school breaks.
