We are looking for a Supplier QA Technician to join our Quality team. The purpose of this job is to assist with updating and maintaining supplier controls in regard to quality and compliance for incoming raw materials and services.

Essential Functions

• Perform inspections of incoming raw materials and finished components in accordance with established criteria and procedures.
• Generate and complete quality documentation such as first article reports, inspection records and non-conformance material reports.
• Support the qualification/validation of new material/suppliers through risk assessment audits
• Conduct and document quality audits of existing supply base
• Assist with the investigation of supplier related issues, including containment and root cause analysis activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and production to solve quality issues
• Recommend improvements to processes in a diplomatic fashion
• Interpret drawings, schematics or other data ensuring conformance to quality
• Work with all departments to determine quality specifications
• Prepare quality reporting and analysis
• Calibrate and clean testing equipment

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing
•  2 years’ experience in quality assurance with P.P.A.P. or F.A.I. experience.
