Your Role

Jar of Sparks is searching for a Senior Producer to help coordinate large, multidisciplinary teams to build great games. As a Senior Producer you bring your game-development experience and strategies to bear as you coordinate your team alongside its leads. You are comfortable and can self-start despite ambiguity, and you understand when, why and how ambiguity can be an advantage. You make, update, and wisely make exceptions to your team's plan, always in the interest of producing a great game and a great game studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and collaborate with your team to create and maintain plans, processes, strategies, and schedules.
• Balance the work your team keeps within the studio with the work it accomplishes through external partnerships.
• Facilitate your team's creation of great game experiences. Drive the team's process, remove obstacles, resolve ambiguity.
• Track and communicate your team's status, needs, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for your team's improvement, produce plans to realize and measure them, generate buy-in from stakeholders and execute.
• Identify and manage the risks that could prevent your team from producing great results.
• Identify and exploit opportunities that could enable your team to exceed expectations.

Basic Qualifications

• Three or more years' experience as a producer on AAA-games.
• Experience shipping AAA-games as a producer.
• Mastery with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Mastery with collaboration software like Jira, Hansoft, or equivalent.
• Skilled and experienced in games project management.
• Native familiarity with game production lifecycles and development milestones.
• Comfortable and experienced working with ambiguous goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Technical experience creating automation for work tracking and reporting.
• Experience managing outsourced development projects.

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $158,000 USD
