Variable Data Programming Specialist

Data programming's primary responsibilities include performing data operations such as conversion, address hygiene, and postal pre-sort, as well as variable document composition and file creation for commercial print projects.

Salary:

• $28 to $33 per hour

Hours:

• 1st Shift (6 am - 2 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned data and layout tasks using a variety of software tools.
• Stay abreast of current USPS regulations.
• Navigate and troubleshoot diverse data processing projects.
• Interface directly with sales, account, and production managers.
• Adhere to management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work instructions.
• Follow document control procedures.
• Participate in the Corrective Action System (CAR System) and contribute to process and product improvements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in computer programs such as Quadient Inspire, BCC Ignite, Microsoft products, and postal software.
• Experience with Adobe programs: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Extensive knowledge of the commercial print and direct mail industry.
• Experience in direct mail data processing, including data hygiene and variable document composition.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of continuous improvement concepts.
• 2- or 4-year Computer Science or Programming degree or completion of industry-specific training course (or relevant industry work experience).

• Stay-On Bonus amount is based on experience. Paid out in three installments at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment at Japs-Olson.
