Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the hygienist in seating patients, taking x-rays, and coronal polishing if certified.

This position is part-time with the potential to move to full time based on performance.

Hours are as follows:

- Monday to Thursday 1pm-7pm
- Some Fridays: 7am-1pm (flexible)

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the hygienist during procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Record patient information, medical histories, and vital signs
- Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or RDA certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Anatomy knowledge
- Experience as a dental receptionist

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray and Sterilization Certifications (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Fresno, CA 93720 (Required)
