Overview

Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of equipment and facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM on all machinery & equipment and makes appropriate entries for record keeping purposes.
• Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance.
• Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical (and some electronic) principles.
• Repair of machinery & equipment; to include but not limited to the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Plumbing and Welding.
• Fabricate jigs, fixtures and material handling devises as required.
• Support Plant Safety Program.
• Make minor electrical repairs on machinery, equipment and building electrical supply.
• Installation and removal of machinery and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Apprenticeship program preferred.
• Two or more years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Must have knowledge of email and preventative maintenance database systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend.
