We are looking for an experienced professional for the role of equity research sales in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will bring existing institutional account relationships as well as cultivate new relationships and be able to effectively sell Janney research and other product offerings.What you are good at:· Organization and Time Management- Able to structure the timing of operational workflow to reliably and accurately complete multiple tasks under frequent time constraints· Teamwork & Collaboration- Connecting with others in a way that fosters trust, creates collaborative relationships, and preserves established team culture.· Communicating Effectively- Must be able to effectually communicate verbally and in writing with senior level leadership and financial advisorsResponsibilities:· Work closely and communicate effectively with the research department, trading desk, and capital markets· Stay in constant contact with client base updating them with new and existing research product and thoughts· Provide consistent product and client feedback both internally and externally· Help organize account meetings with corporate clients on various NDR’s and conferences throughout the year· Develop new relationships with clients to help expand the Janney brand What you have:· Minimum of 10 years of equity sales experience, preferably in Boston and with Boston accounts· An existing institutional buyside account base of analysts and pm relationships for the purpose of providing our research services to this base· A background in financials, REITs, Technology, and Energy verticals is a plus· Possess Series 7 and 63· Ability to work in office hybrid with at least 3 days in the officeWhy work for us?Benefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
