Job Summary:
The Picker will be responsible for the scanning of the purchase orders and ensuring accuracy in inventory supplies is maintained. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintains an accurate running inventory.
· Picks ingredients, and work orders for production staff.
· Operates a forklift and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
· Transports materials and products within the warehouse.
· Stacks and store products in an organized manner.
· Always follow safety procedures and guidelines.
· Assists in inventory management and cycle counting.
· Collaborates with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Understanding of inventory control systems.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Excellent time management skills.
· Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
· Must be able to speak and understand English.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
· Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
