What You'll Do:

You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business analytics needs, ensuring that data-driven solutions align with business objectives.
  2. Master various data sources, continually learning and understanding their intricacies, to provide cohesive and comprehensive analyses.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and reverse ETL processes to facilitate data preparation and integration.
  4. Design and implement robust data pipelines to streamline the data analysis process.
  5. Perform in-depth business data analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.
  6. Harness the power of machine learning and generative AI, such as OpenAI’s GPT API, to automate analyses and generate synthetic data sets.
  7. Utilize tools like Python, MySQL, MSSQL server, and vector databases, ensuring optimal data management and analysis.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate for the role will have good collaborative teamwork skills, both written and spoken communication skills, and be able to adapt, as we are a nimble and ever-changing organization. The required qualifications include:

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics engineering role or a similar data science position.
  2. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  3. Strong foundational knowledge in mathematics and statistics, underpinning your analytical abilities.
  4. Proficiency in tools such as Python, MySQL, T-SQL, MSSQL server, MS SSRS, and vector databases like Pinecone or Chroma.
  5. A deep understanding of Python libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib and Plotly.
  6. Experience with forecasting tools like Facebook Prophet or ARIMA models.
  7. Familiarity with APIs like OpenAI’s GPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Assembly.AI.
  8. Competence in spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets and Excel, allowing for versatile data presentation and collaboration.
  9. A strong inclination towards collaborating with a team to uncover and articulate the narrative embedded within data.
  10. Superior verbal and written communication capabilities, essential for effective collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
