We are a professional and fun new boutique dental practice in JP. Our mission is to create and continue to grow our top-tier practice, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive care. At our core, we strive to create an amazing patient experience.

We are looking for someone who fits the following criteria:

Humble: Ready to learn, and make mistakes! Looking for someone willing to be a part of a great team atmosphere and who wants to assist in curating the environment we want for our patients. Mistakes and missteps are fantastic, as long we grow from them.

Hungry: Ready for a challenge. No prior dental or medical office experience required. It is, however, a definite plus. On the job training and resources provided. Everyone is ready and willing to help you grow and be successful. You may know a little or a lot. Whatever the case may be, in a couple of months, you will be a pro!

Smart: Socially smart and aware. We are looking for someone with excellent “people skills”, someone who can “read the room” and handle any type of conversation - both positive and negative. Any type of customer service background is welcomed. We are looking for someone who shares in our enthusiasm for making people feel comfortable and at ease. Searching for someone who can think on their feet and act accordingly in multiple situations. Let’s face it: it’s a dental practice, and most people are uncomfortable / anxious to say the least. Our mission is to take that fear and anxiety away by creating a fun / positive / inclusive space where the patient can be seen and heard. Our patients are NOT just a number at our practice.

If you've read this far in the listing I'm going to be totally honest. This is what we need. We are looking for someone who may not know all the things, but is willing to learn. Someone with curiosity, compassion, empathy and grace. Looking for someone socially mature and drama-free. Drama is a no-go here in the office. We genuinely all like each other and enjoy each other’s company. We laugh and joke with each other, as we do with our patients. That is our ethos. Yes, you’re going to the dentist, but we strive to make it the best experience possible. As much training as needed, we will provide. Our mantra here is simple: try to be a better person tomorrow than you were today. We want everyone to enjoy coming into work every day.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in using Open Dental preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments preferred, but not required

Hours are currently Mon. - Thurs. 8:30am arrival (1st patient is at 9:00am) - approx. 5:00pm. There is usually one Sat. per month 8:30am arrival - approx. 2:00pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
