Job Summary:
We are a thriving private dental practice in St. Louis Park, seeking an energetic, bright, self-starter to join our amazing team as a Licensed or Non-Licensed Dental Assistant. If you like a fast paced, exciting, professional dental office, a friendly environment and being part of an AMAZING team, this is the position for you. Our ideal candidate is proficient in Dentrix, has excellent communication skills, is self-motivated and has a passion for working with people.
We are looking for the right person to join our team.
The position is for Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday (1/2 day).
Pay rate based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following treatment or surgery
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program is preferred, but not required
- Current CPR certification is preferred, but not required
