Key Responsibilities:

- Perform meticulous disassembly, inspection, measurement, and diagnosis of hydraulic cylinders utilized in diverse industries such as Mobile Cranes, Heavy Manufacturing, Scrap, and Steel sectors.

- Expertly assemble, set up, and test intricate machined parts to ensure proper fit, function, cleanliness, and optimal hydraulic cylinder performance.

- Execute precision adjustments, alignments, and fittings to adhere to stringent tolerances and inspection standards, employing techniques such as scraping, tapping, drilling, and reaming. Utilize hand fitting methods and simple power tools proficiently.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in understanding Geometric and Tolerancing specifications.

- Experience using precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify tight tolerances.

- Ability to operate overhead cranes and lifting devices (slings, chains), torches, impact tools, hydraulic torque wrenches, rollers, cheater bars, etc.

- Familiarity with tools and techniques used in heavy mechanical disassembly and assembly operations.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative team spirit to effectively solve complex problems.

- Basic knowledge of hydraulics is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous mechanic experience preferred.
