Jade Behavioral Consultants is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- Residential Facility Near Anaheim, CA

How you'll contribute to creating a world without limits and why you'll find it fulfilling: In addition to crucial BCBA responsibilities, you'll be instrumental in designing, overseeing, and evaluating clients' treatment needs. Your role will also involve supervising, training, and managing behavior technicians, utilizing your expertise and training to facilitate success for both clients and staff.

Requirements:

  • Must have had BCBA certification for at least 2 years
  • Master’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, human development, social work or rehabilitation
  • 2 years of experience working as a behavior technician implementing ABA interventions with adults with special needs
  • 2-years of experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children and/or adults with special needs, as well as training parents, staff, and technicians on how to implement these interventions
  • Knowledge and experience with DTT, NATS/NET, VB
  • Experience conducting assessments: VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, Brigance, FBA
  • Experience collaborating with others in the field of ABA

Responsibilities:

Program Design and Oversight:

  • Skillfully design and supervise applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programs tailored for adult clients with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs.

Training Expertise:

  • Provide comprehensive training to behavior technicians, residential staff, and fellow professionals, ensuring effective implementation of ABA treatment plans.

Regional Supervision:

  • Conduct face-to-face and remote RBT supervision to residential staff.

Client Team Meetings:

  • Lead team meetings to update treatment plans on a monthly basis.

Goal Setting and Assessment:

  • Assess clients' treatment needs and meticulously craft detailed goals and objectives for each client's treatment plan, facilitating measurable progress tracking.

Assessment and Reporting:

  • Perform assessments (both initial and ongoing) and produce progress reports for each client's funding source.

Meeting Participation:

  • Attend transition meetings and ISP meetings, presenting the client's present level of performance, progress on current goals, and proposed goals on a monthly basis.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with residential staff/RBTs, mental health professionals, nutritionists, and regional center services coordinators through in-person consultations, phone calls, and/or video sessions.

Supervision and Management:

  • Supervise, train, and manage registered behavior technicians (RBTs) effectively, ensuring a high standard of performance.

Adaptability:

  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall success of the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
