World Wide Technology to Jacobs Transition

Description of Duties:

The Senior Network Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

·Senior Network engineer responsible for developing network architectures / engineer solutions, requirements traceability / verification, detailed designs, implementation strategies as well as cost estimates and proposals for various large scale LAN/WAN projects.

·Lead the successful architecture development, design, and implementation of 200 global multi-classification Cisco SD-WAN deployment.

·Lead network engineer responsible for the architecture and design of multi-classification Cisco SD-Access implementation

·Lead design, network, and integration engineer for Defense of Guam (DoG).

·Lead integration and systems engineer for test and forward deployed Aegis Ashore sites.

·Lead network engineering team in developing architectural standards, design and implementation strategies

·Responsible for providing Tier 3/4 network troubleshooting and problem resolution.

·Research emerging technologies and providing architectural recommendations.

·Mentor junior engineering team members

This position will be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO

This position is expected to pay $215,000 - $235,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 20 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 18 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 16 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 14 years of general experience

·Must have 14 years of directly related experience

·Must have an active IAT Level II, or higher, certification

·Must be a current employee of World Wide Technology that currently supports the Missile Defense Agency

·Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
