As the Onsite Lead Technician, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in East Liberty, OH, you’ll work with project staff to maintain the plant operations equipment, laboratory, and facility. Working with other members of our team you’ll apply knowledge of the principles, methods and tools employed in the general maintenance of engines, pumps, valves, motors and related equipment, process control, permit compliance, and safe work practices. You’ll also help diagnose operating problems and assist with determining effective correction procedures. You'll prepare required reports and assure complete recordkeeping procedures as well as perform plant inspections to determine efficiency of equipment, cleanliness, and maintenance activities.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility/plant engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Driver’s license
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent; Vocational Tech, Trades School or Military Occupational Specialty preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Experience with the following types of equipment: HVAC, Air Compressors, Pump and Plumbing Maintenance, Basic Electrical and Mechanical Skills are required.
  • Supervisory experience – May include direct reports or overseeing major projects. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong technical problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: 
The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
