Join our cutting-edge Electronic Vehicles (EV) team, specializing in comprehensive planning, architecture, engineering, and construction management tailored for automotive and electronic vehicle manufacturing, battery cell plants, and photovoltaic facilities. As Electric Vehicles surge in prominence due to climate initiatives and fuel economy standards, the demand for gigafactories is soaring. For battery cell plants, our team designs the complete cell manufacturing process from raw material delivery and mixing, coating and drying, electrode manufacturing, through assembly and formation. We're at the forefront, having delivered four of the world's largest EV manufacturing plants and three of the largest battery cell plants. Photovoltaic cells and panel manufacturing in the US is also growing due the demand and the incentives provided by the Inflation Reduction Act for green projects. Our team is currently delivering multiple PV manufacturing facilities in the US and we are looking to leverage this experience to grow in this focus area.

  • Identification and prioritization of business opportunities and target clients that will lead to consistent growth.
  • Assessing project and program requirements, while developing and recommending a sound approach or application to meet the needs of the project and client.
  • Leading the development of the Jacobs win strategy and value proposition related to key pursuits.
  • Building and coordinating internal and external teams for the successful pursuit and delivery of opportunities
  • Lead, with support from the EV Sales Operations Manager and Operations Lead, the development of project fee proposals and coordination with discipline leadership for input.

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in Business Development/Sales related to A&E/Construction or industrial manufacturing (related to automotive, battery or solar energy).
  • An elevated level of industry knowledge and technical understanding of manufacturing processes and the engineering & design process and construction delivery approaches.
  • Ability to travel up to ~50%, both domestic and internationally in compliance with Jacobs and our clients’ travel policies.

Ideally, you’ll also have experience with international business development transactions.
