Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Guest Services/Cage Cashier Supervisor—Graveyard Shift” for Gold Dust West Reno. The GDW Reno is located in the central downtown gaming district and has been a local’s favorite since 1977. It features the latest and hottest slot machines, full-service bars, and the ever-popular Grille restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolution
• Generate a weekly supervisor and Cage clerk schedule
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or problems in the cage area
• Verify various types of pay outs
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all Cage area and Cage equipment
• Display a thorough knowledge of all Title 31 and Gaming Regulations and ensures department compliance
• Interview prospective employees, assist with the hiring process and train Guest Service Personnel
• Maintain paperwork flow regarding credits and debits
• Generate end of shift report
• Assist with high profile players
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of fraud prevention and credit scams

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable of Gaming Regulations, ICMP’s and all cage related company policies and procedures
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills, Word and Excel. Ability to 10-key
• High school diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Previous cash handling and prior casino experience preferred
• 2 years supervisory experience required
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
