Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute has an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner/APRN to work with Dr. Martin at our South clinic.
Dr. Martin Specialties: Back and Neck, Hip, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Spine Team, Shoulder Pain.

Office Location: 14534 Old St Augustine Rd, Suite 3210, Jacksonville, FL 32258
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the physician, responsibilities to include clinic, assisting in surgery. No call, weekends or nights.
- Under supervision of the physician: provide initial and ongoing assessment of patient’s medical history and medical status; perform office procedures; order diagnostic tests and treatments; develop treatment plan and records progress notes; update and maintain patient chart data; provide patient and/or family education.
Position Requirements
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Florida and BLS.
- Prior experience with ortho, pain management, spine, or sports medicine is preferred.
- Must possess effective interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, strong clinical and evaluation skills.
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
- Computer proficiency, including experience with medical software and EMR (Athena and EPIC) is beneficial.
