The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins, is looking to build on a successful reputation of delivering a fun, unique, and exciting fan experience at 121 Financial Ballpark in downtown Jacksonville. The club is in search of an enthusiastic and passionate Graphic Designer to join the top-drawing minor league sports team in the state of Florida. He/She will be given the opportunity to work as part of the creative services team to enhance the Jumbo Shrimp brand and atmosphere at both the ballpark and on marketing throughout the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce team’s external marketing materials (Print, Outdoor, Digital and TV)
• Create motion and static content for team's social media channels, stadium videoboards, in-stadium monitors, and MiLB television broadcast
• Design stadium signage (large format to flyers)
• Work with sales and marketing team to create promotional materials
• Coordinate photo and/or video shoots with the Jumbo Shrimp players, staff, retail merchandise, giveaway items, etc.
• Provide design services, including website graphics, social media graphics, HTML newsletter graphics, and support for print projects
• Operate graphics systems for videoboards or game broadcasts and assist with the preparation of Production Room on gamedays
• Work on a variety of assignments on an as-needed basis
• Other Duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience with creating print-ready materials with an understanding of layouts, fonts, website design, and mobile design
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work on short notice 
• Creative and proven execution on a variety of projects with conflicting timelines
• Must be detail-oriented, take initiative and able to work quickly and independently
• Demonstrated experience with industry standard graphic design applications, preferably Adobe Creative Suite's Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Previous experience with Adobe Affects or Cinema 4D is a plus
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays 
• Experience in Live Production Atmosphere is Preferred 
• Minimum of 1 year of graphic design experience required, in print digital creation (job and/or internship)
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in graphic design or related degree with a focus in marketing/communications or similar field
