Jackson Hospital and Clinic is Hiring an Utility Worker Near Montgomery, AL

This position is responsible for working on patient meal assembly area, washing patient and cafeteria dishes, remove garbage from department, and is responsible for sweeping and mopping kitchen area. Position also responsible for picking up dirty patient trays from nursing floors and working with others within Food and Nutrition Services department to provide outstanding quality food and service to patients. Position also has to assist with stocking food and condiments for patient area. Uses various cleaning supplies. Operates dish machine. Work ranges in demand from medium to heavy. All tasks require walking and standing. Bends, lifts, carries, and pushes when performing duties. Normal vision is required. Works inside where area is hot and humid. May be required to rotate to other than assigned shift in the event of acute staffing needs.
Requirements:
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions.
