Under the direction of the Director Patient Care Manager, the Clinical Coordinator is responsible on a shift basis for the operations of a specific clinical unit such that it complies with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies, and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator assists the Department Director and or Patient Care Manager in ensuring the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process by assisting with patient care issues, providing education and serving as ensuring that Patient care through the nursing process by assisting with patient care issues, providing education and serving as clinical resource to staff during the assigned shift. The individual demonstrates personal and professional responsibility; participates in creating an atmosphere of teamwork and coordination; and assumes responsibility for own professional development.
Requirements:
Unrestricted AL or Multi State RN license, five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Urology, Orthopedics, and/or Neurology/Neuroscience
3 years of recent bedside experience, BLS and ACLS required
Evidence of good communication skills and ability to work well one-on-one or in group settings
Ability to form effective working relationship with employees, management and physicians
Good problem solving and organizational skills
Able to work at bedside exhibiting advanced specialized nursing skills as required and perform all other duties as assigned.
