Family and Consumer Science Teacher - Legacy Knoll Middle School

• Position is for the 24-25 school year

Food, Nutrition and Wellness courses promote an understanding of nutritional needs and food choices for optimal health of individuals across the lifespan. Interrelationships with wellness are explored. This course leads to the advanced nutrition pathway and develops a knowledge base and the skills necessary to select among alternatives in the marketplace, with an emphasis on nutrient content, the development of chronic diseases, and food safety

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field
• Hold or be eligible to hold GaPSC certification in Family and Consumer Science
• 5 years of verified occupational work eperience in nutrition and/or food science

Employment Terms

• 190 day calendar
• Annual salary based on education level and years of creditable experience
