Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products according to customer specifications and food safety standards. Your attention to detail and knowledge of various cuts of meat will ensure that our customers receive high-quality products. Responsibilities: - Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer requests - Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, slicers, and saws - Package and label meat products for display and sale - Ensure proper storage and rotation of meat products to maintain freshness - Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Assist customers with selecting the appropriate cuts of meat and provide recommendations for cooking methods - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the meat department Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in the food industry - Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their characteristics - Proficient in using knives and other meat processing equipment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for career growth within the company If you have a passion for working with food, possess strong cutting skills, and are committed to providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.
