Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our team. As a Seamstress/Tailor, you will be responsible for sewing and altering garments to meet customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for fashion and garment construction.

Responsibilities:
- Perform garment alterations, including hemming, resizing, and repairing
- Use sewing machines and other tools to sew fabrics and create finished products
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring garments are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience in fashion retail or a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using sewing machines and other sewing tools
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and perform basic math calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $7.25 - $20.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
