Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various automotive situations.

Duties:
- Operate a tow truck to transport heavy vehicles to designated locations
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics to determine the cause of breakdowns
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment
- Safely secure vehicles on the tow truck to prevent damage during transportation
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments on vehicles as needed
- Utilize manual transmission skills to operate tow trucks effectively
- Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading heavy vehicles or equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck
- Maintain accurate records of each tow, including vehicle information, destination, and any additional services provided

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with stranded motorists in a professional and empathetic manner
- Proficient in operating a tow truck and performing basic automotive diagnostics
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation for towing purposes
- Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles onto the tow truck safely
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle repairs and adjustments
- Familiarity with forklift operation for handling heavy vehicles or equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally and calmly
