The Company
We are seeking candidates passionate about a challenge and an opportunity to make a big impact within a startup.
We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with a passion for the outdoors and a keen eye for design aesthetics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for our apparel collections.
Responsibilities:
The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, design, and execute creative projects for Jack and Sage, including:
  • Create engaging and visually stunning graphics for apparel designs, including but not limited to shirts, hoodies, and accessories.
  • Own the creative process to ensure the final product aligns with the creative direction and meets commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute design concepts that align with brand guidelines and target market preferences.
  • Design graphic art for different garment decorations: screen-printing techniques, applique, embroidery, and other embellishment methods.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Work with production files and vectors to ensure designs are print-ready and meet quality standards for manufacturing processes.
  • Ensures that the art files are organized with the correct labeling, libraries, and organization system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor analysis to ensure designs are innovative and competitive in the market.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Exceptional skills with Adobe Software (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work, particularly in the outdoor industry.
  • 1-2 years of product design experience required. An ideal candidate will have designed apparel as well as production files, vectors, and print-ready design specifications.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new design trends and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
  • Ambitious and high achiever mindset with a goal-oriented approach to projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, including color accuracy, typography, and overall design consistency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Denver, CO based – we are currently not considering candidates relocating.
Strongly Preferred:
  • Experience with custom logo apparel and prints.
  • Experience with knit products: hats, socks, and accessories.
  • Experience working with a small company.
