Job Overview: Available Immediately

The Customer’s IT Resource management and operations integration component is responsible for leading all aspects of budget formulations and execution, the IT portfolio management program and managing business transformation activities. The Customer requires specialized support across multiple projects.

  1. Providing system and requirements integration with the components that perform the IT development/engineering of capabilities in support of an enterprise portfolio and project management tool for which the Customer is the product owner.
  2. Managing and supporting the overall financial and business efforts including a new initiative related to cost recovery model. The work will include assessing and analyzing data through conversations with IT and finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as well as documenting and briefing data related to subject. 
  3. Supporting a startup integrated security initiative with a focus on analyzing current processes, approvals and training while formulating a plan for the future. The work will include communications with security SMEs and developing a roadmap.

 The position will:

  • Assist the Customer integrate different requirements and capabilities from other offices across the broader Customer community into a centralized system.
  • Design, test, and integrate new security products as directed by the GTM
  • The Contractor Team shall integrate security products, including designs for all Customer networks
  • Provide technical oversight and direction to designated boards for integrating new technology or major new mission capabilities into the Customer environment, standards and structures
  • Engage with customers to determine the nature of requirement/analytic problem, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations.
  • Resolve complex IT problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to Customer’s standards and procedures
  • Plan, test, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant IT components, systems, applications, tools
  • Identify opportunities to integrate and improve resources to accomplish customer needs
  • Review existing Information Technology (IT) programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current techniques
  • Strategically plan new designs for integration into a budget reconciliation database structure, using knowledge of the characteristics of the systems being added to the structure and the specifications for database interfaces to ensure effective integration and optimal database performance
  • Provide for the logical conversation of customer or product requirements into total system solutions.
  • Review and acquire data from primary or secondary cost recovery data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to include expenditure plan requirements, and business process analysis.
  • Provide insight into industry trends and make recommendations on future direction; identify new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics
  • Support the development and monitoring of Customer its overall community-wide policy and procedures to support mission goals and operations
  • Stay abreast of Customer’s directives, regulations, guidance, notices and standards.
  • Analyze current processes, available tools in an effort to enhance the Customers change management processes.
  • Be responsible for creating and executing a Customer-wide communications plan that facilitates timely and transparent flow of information.
  • Respond to senior level leadership queries on activities.
  • Be responsible for the development of all types of documents and reports by creating and updating graphics presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents

Required skills and demonstrated experience:

The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience working in or with the Customers security component.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and with the Customers security tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully utilizing exceptional customer service working directly with business and technical customers to communicate organizational accomplishments, status and direction to stakeholders’ at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience developing use cases that improve the ability to find information in a more timely fashion
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, translations, and visualizing information in a clear way to explain the data at hand.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing project schedules, utilizing MS Project to identify critical tasks, and EVM for overall project status
  • Demonstrated experience with resource allocation and optimizing resource assignments by identifying key resources and the right set of skill sets required for a project.
  • Demonstrated experience developing Minimum Viable Increments (MVIs) based on requirements gathered.
  • Demonstrated experience and background in Business/Financial areas.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully utilizing written communication skills to produce publishable documents
  • Demonstrated experience with portfolio &resource management
  • Demonstrated experience working on both development and integration projects
  • Demonstrated experience tracking budgetary funds

Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include:

  • Demonstrated experience with Service Now
  • Demonstrated experience with the Customers on site customer domain.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Customer's budget process and culture

US Citizenship:

  • This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.

Security Clearance:

  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel:

  • This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
