1 Safety Coordinator Job in Loretto, KY
J.Y. Legner Associates, Inc. is Hiring a Safety Coordinator Near Loretto, KY
Our client is looking for a Safety Professional for a construction project. This position will start as soon as possible and is projected to end August 16th.
Hours: Standard 8-5 M-F EST for now. Will vary with construction schedule but not expected to exceed 10 hour days, 40 hr weeks. Not expecting weekend work.
PPE: standard, steel toes, hard hat, gloves, glasses
*please note that this a W2 position with no per diem*
Responsibilities:
- Daily job briefings and safety audits for industrial job site
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
- Provide first aid and emergency response support as needed
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or related training programs
- Proficient in report writing and data analysis
- Familiarity with EHS management systems and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- OSHA 10 and 30 (preferred)
