Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on both power and sail boats to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the fleet and premises to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Repair or replace damaged equipment, machinery, or parts
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Operate power tools and other equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or similar role
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques
- Proficient in using power tools and other maintenance equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform moderate lifting, and other physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with engine diagnostics is an advantage
