Position: Project Financial Accountant 

Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT

We are recruiting for a Project Financial Accountant to work in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. 

While supporting the accounting functions of a project, this position supports the office with a variety of duties and responsibilities. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Set up projects and maintain project billing terms 
• Assist with office financial tracking including profitability, revenue, revenue projections, etc.
• Assist with office wide time tracking
• Process monthly invoices and statements
• Contact clients to resolve payment issues
• Record payments received
• Maintain filing system for all client invoices
• Prepare various spreadsheets and edit documents related to office financial tracking
• Support and assist Project Managers with contracts, budget review, client coordination, project tracking, and creatively tailor workflow to accomplish tasks
• Continually strive for process improvement/efficiency in the position and workflow
• Work as part of administrative team which includes answering telephones, working with clients, general office duties, etc. 

Requirements

• 3 years previous billing experience and knowledge of general accounting principles. 
• Able to work well independently and with a variety of personalities in a professional manner as part of a high functioning team
• Experience using accounting systems; Familiarity with Deltek Vision a plus, but not required
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented, accurate, and demonstrated organization skills

Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00 hourly. Determined by experience.
