J.T. Hoover Concrete, Inc. is looking for an experienced concrete foreman to manage residential/commercial foundation pours. The ideal candidate possesses advanced concrete knowledge in these areas.

JOB DUTIES:

• Read, interpret, explain and teach residential and commercial blueprints
• Review project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements and allotment of resources
• Outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, scope authority to project staff; award new contracts
• Manage subcontractors builder relationships
• Arrange all inspections, drawings, and estimates required for field
• Prepare project reports for management, office staff, builders
• Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems, modifying schedules or plans as required
• Manage work orders
• Manage discrepancies between field data and project data

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Commercial pour experience required
• Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
• Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy
• Must have imagination and strong problem-solving skills, with a strong technical orientation
• Ability to weigh decisions carefully and thoroughly based on expertise in order to avoid unpredictable risk

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years working on concrete related projects
• Specializes in residential/commercial concrete pours
• Must be a motivated and enthusiastic team player
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluency in Spanish a bonus
