We have been in business since 1995 in commercial roofing, and have had strong growth since the new owner bought the company in 2019. We have clients in OR, WA, and ID and a strong presence in public works projects. We are looking to add an estimator with public works experience to our team. 

Duties:

• Oversee Estimating Department
• Decide which jobs to bid on
• Decide bid strategy
• Compile bids with the help of estimating team
• Look over takeoffs and bids for accuracy to ensure team has complete scope
• Go to job walks and meet clients
• Negotiate contracts, purchases with suppliers, subcontractors

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 Years Commercial Public works projects / Estimating Sales experience
• Knowledge of Commercial Construction Process including: Submittals, Substitution Requests and Lowest Responsible Bidder Opportunities
• Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per month for job walks and meeting customers
• Roofing Specific experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate
