TotalRecycle is looking for an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic to join our team to work at a cutting-edge recycle center in Birdsboro, PA. The successful candidate will help oversee maintenance of a large, industrial single stream recycling processing facility.

The Entry Level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will evaluate, repair, adjust, and maintain equipment, and rebuild and install as required industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment
• Use hand tools, and power tools, measuring instruments and lifting devices, jacks, hoist
• Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines.
• Disassembles or dismantles machines to perform repairs
• Troubleshoots and repairs machines as required for safe operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Ability to weld a plus
• Electrical Experience a plus

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines & rules

Education and Experience: Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED This is an entry level position, we are willing to train!

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.
• Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.

Pay Rate:$18 - $20 per hour, dependent upon experience. Starting rate - will receive increase at 90 day review. This is a growth position, where you can advance upwards to 30 dollars per hour within career.

Schedule:

Monday thru Friday: 2:00pm -10:30pm, Rotating Saturday
