Our Wyoming Valley Hauling Division, located in Nanticoke, PA, is currently searching for an Assistant General Manager due to growth! Our goal is to grow the right candidate to become a successful General Manager. To achieve that goal, this position is based fully onsite.

What You Will Do:

• Work with the Director of Sales in planning and establishing marketing plans and objectives
• Act as liaison to all customers, municipalities and districts serviced
• Support the General Manager (GM) in the day-to-day operations of the division, inclusive but not limited to, review and approve purchases for the division
• In conjunction with the GM, plan and control operations to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational goals are met or exceeded, the implementation and adherence to the operational and financial plan of the division and ensure all required reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Drive to meet 100% environmental, DOT and OSHA compliance standards
• Work with shop manager to meet all equipment and maintenance needs
• Work with the Talent Acquisition team from Human Resources to ensure staffing needs are met
• Special projects and other job duties as assigned.

You Have:

• Five (5) years of leadership and management experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• A Bachelor’s degree in management or other related field
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong skills related to Microsoft Office software products
