What does a field service technician do?
As a field technician you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing issues with technical equipment. This can involve working on things such as, heavy machinery in factories and/or at manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities- Building positive relationships with customersProviding service and customer support during field visitsMaking appropriate recommendations and briefings on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specificationsDiagnosing errors and/or technical issues and determining proper solutionsTroubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipmentManaging on-site testing, maintenance, repair, and installationDocumenting processes and producing detailed service reportsSafely operating vehicles and machineryCooperating with technical teams and providing information across the organizationWorking with products that cannot be easily transported due to their size or link to other systemsWilling to work after hours emergency callsWilling to travel within the US, Mexico and occasional overseas projectsFollowing all company procedures and protocols Job Type: Full-time Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
