J. Morrissey & Company, Inc. is Hiring a Remote RN Quality Reporting Specialist- Office Setting (Hybrid)
RN-Safety and Quality Reporting Analyst-CDC Ambulatory Surgical Services-office setting (hybrid-work model 2 days in office 3 remote) Mon-Friday - Central CT. This is an administrative position for an RN who has experience with reporting medical outcomes data for safety statistics to the CDC, DPH and other governing bodies. Works independently as the sole quality Nurse Coordinator with collaboration of nursing Director and Physician and clinical and non clinical staff. Ensures operations are compliant and audit ready.
Coordinates all Quality Improvement activities' associated with required policy and guidelines including infectious disease, safety, accurate documentation, oversees quality improvement operations and activities to ensure achievement of the overall QI Program objectives and goals
The Quality Improvement Coordinator will coordinate quality improvement activity and supports various functions within the scope of the Peak Health Quality Improvement Program
Regulatory and accreditation standard adherence; delegation oversight; performance monitoring and assessment; data collection and analysis; and the continual advancement of the quality improvement process to achieve goals of excellence within an ambulatory surgical office setting ( work remote and hybrid combination) In the Central Connecticut area.
Assess the readiness for internal and external surveys by CDC and AAAHC
Serve as the educational resource on quality improvement by developing and rolling out the educational or training
Analyze data and present solutions in coordination with internal physicians and staff to achieve continuous improvement
Requirements:
Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut
COHQ Certification preferable
Operating Room or Surgical Services background
Minimum Associates Degree
Quality and safety Data EPIC
Audit experience
Advanced in Epic EMR software documentation
Technical savvy in reporting analysis
Experience with Quality Measures CMS, CDC Guidelines
Patient safety and patient satisfaction reporting
Nursing Education and training
Accreditation /Joint commission experience is highly preferred
