Description

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to fill our new created Purchasing Administrator role at our corporate headquarters in Frazer, PA. The Purchasing Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing team in various tasks, including maintaining records, updating databases, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the department. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain records and follow up files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
• Update internal databases, including product descriptions, Item IDs, etc. 
• Ensure that product information in the Customer Portal is regularly updated.
• Assist with reporting and analysis.
• Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
• Perform clerical functions necessary for departmental efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries and questions from Branch Managers and Territory Managers with information or redirection to the appropriate person.
• Assist with purchasing and inventory management of assigned product categories.

Qualifications


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a purchasing or procurement environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using databases and office software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Previous experience with building materials, purchasing processes, and inventory management.
