J. Kent Staffing is Hiring a Land Technician Near Englewood, CO
Pay: $60,000 - $65,000/year (based on experience) a full benefits package
Overview: Our client, an upstream oil and gas company located in , is a seeking a full-time direct hire Land Technician to join their team of 5. This position reports directly to the Lease Records & Division Order Manager. This position requires someone who is a team player, technologically savvy, dependable, and possesses good business judgement and ethics. This position is 100% in office in Centennial Monday – Friday with flexible working hours between the hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and update physical and scanned files
- Create and update owner in Excalibur software
- Assist with Division Order mailings and other mailing projects
- Create new well records in Excalibur software
- Update lease records with rental remarks
- Maintain land file inventory
- Manage County recordings with Federal, State, and tribal approvals
- Mail and track authorization of expenditures
- Assist with record cross-referencing in Excalibur software
- Assist with other projects as requested
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience of land or lease record experience
- Excalibur software experience is a strong plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to be effective independently
- Meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and propose solutions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
