Our client, located in Trenton, New Jersey, is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator . The International Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the movement of goods across the globe, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.

This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Salary : $55,000-65,000 / year

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and manage international shipments via air, sea, and land routes. Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, custom brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements of origin and destination countries.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize transportation costs.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents including invoices, bills of lading, and export and import documentation.
• Track and monitor the progress of shipments; provide updates to relevant stakeholders and address any delays or issues as they arise.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains with the logistics operation.

Skills and Qualifications :

• 3 years international logistics coordination experience required .
• Degree in supply chain management, logistics, chain management, or a related field a plus .
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
